Art Nouveau and Art Deco glass objects – vases, carafes & more
Italian vintage vase by Opaline Florence, Empoli.
This opal glass vase by Opaline is a beautiful example of Italian design from the 1970s.
The vase has a bulbous body with a narrow, tall neck. It is made of white opal glass with black and gray flecks. The curved handle gives the vase an elegant touch.
The vase is typical of the design of the Empoli region in Italy. It comes from the company Vetreria Barbieri, known as VB Opaline Florence, which produced opal glassware in the 1970s and early 1980s.
