Description

Rosenthal - Collector's item by Herbert Hajek

Rosenthal limited art series, studio-linie, edition of 5,000/1,279. Signed and labeled in multiple languages. Original box.

The Rosenthal Artist Plate No. 18, designed by Herbert Hajek, bears the poetic title ""Themes of colour are wowen into the patterns of life".

The porcelain plate captivates with a vibrantly colored motif on fine porcelain. Hajek translates his abstract thinking into a round format: With dynamic color gradients, rhythmic lines, and a harmonious balance of form and color, a visually intense work is created. The "Color Paths" motif evokes movement, permeability, and vibrancy – with a strong emotional and graphic impact.

Otto Herbert Hajek (1927 - 2005)

Otto Herbert Hajek (*June 27, 1927 in Kaltenbach, Czechoslovakia – †April 29, 2005 in Stuttgart) was an outstanding painter, graphic artist, and sculptor of abstract art in the post-war period. He is particularly known for his colorful sculptures or objects made of steel and concrete, interior and facade designs, but also for prints with strong formal precision. His works exemplify organic rhythm and color composition.

His works of art are exhibited worldwide, for example in Moscow, Adelaide or in the Vatican Museums.
