Yehudi Menuhin (1916–1999)
Yehudin Menuhin is one of the most important violinists and conductors of the 20th century and shaped the music world for decades with his virtuosity, depth of interpretation, and humanistic commitment.
The artist plate N° 10 is titled "All good things come in threes", and, in conjunction with the treble clef and musical staff, clearly references Menuhin's artistic world. Thus, the plate combines fine art with musical symbolism in a simple yet expressive way.
The plate presents not only a collector's item but also a piece of cultural history: the connection between the long-established Rosenthal porcelain manufactory and one of the greatest musical figures of the 20th century.
ART FLAGEY Berlin presents the plate by Yehudi Menuhin as part of its selection of limited edition artist plates by Rosenthal.
