Victor Saglier - Founder of the Parisian Silversmithing Firm

Victor Saglier (1809–1894) established the family of Parisian silversmiths in the 1890s at 12, rue d'Enghien in Paris; his brothers, Eugène and André Saglier, continued the firm under the name "Saglier Frères".

The manufacturer Saglier supplied renowned Parisian establishments. Characteristic features of Saglier’s work include high-quality silver plating, floral and geometric motifs, and a harmonious balance between ornamentation and function.
