About the manufacturer Val-Saint-Lambert

The company Val-Saint-Lambert was founded in 1825 as a glassworks within the former Val-St-Lambert Abbey in Seraing, Belgium. To this day, Val-Saint-Lambert continues to be operated as a family business.

Notable designers included Léon Ledru, Victor Horta, Henry van de Velde, Joseph Simon, and Charles Graffart.

From 1920 onwards, production successfully focused on glassware in the Art Deco style. At the *Exposition internationale des Arts Décoratifs et industriels modernes* in Paris in 1925, Val-Saint-Lambert's exhibits were awarded the Grand Prix.
