Frans Minnaert
Frans Minnaert (4.12.1929 - Idegem/Belgium - 18.11.2011) was a painter, designer and graphic artist. He was trained at the Art Schools of Alost and Brussels (1950 - 1958).
Initially, Minnaert painted in the style of the Flemish Expressionists and then developed more and more his own style with wild fantasy landscapes and people who lose themselves in the fauna and flora. Since about 1990, the woman dominated his work, sensitive and very emotional.
Monumental works by Minnaert are located in the metro station Satin-Guido in Brussels as well as in the possession of the Belgian state.
