Philibert Cockx (1879 Ixelles/Bruxelles - 1949 Uccle/Bruxelles), Belgian expressionist painter, student of Isidore Verheyden, trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, painter of portraits, landscapes, plants and flowers, animals and sea creatures. He belongs to the school of Fauvism (Brabant).
