Female nude by the Belgian painter Jean Léon Henri Gouweloos
This painting by Jean Léon Henri Gouweloos, exclusively at ART FLAGEY Kunsthandel Berlin, depicts a young, nude, seated woman in profile. Her slightly tilted head and closed eyes lend the scene a contemplative, almost dreamy atmosphere.
The composition is delicate and balanced – with soft transitions and subtle color nuances in shades of rose, beige, and ivory. Particular attention is paid to the lighting and body shape, giving the work a quiet intimacy and classical aesthetic.
The painting is signed "Jean Gouweloos" lower right.
