Rodolphe de Saegher (1871-1941) was a member of the artists' association "Vie et Lumière"(Life and Light) founded in 1904 and a representative of the Luminismus in Belgium.
This style was mainly influenced by the Belgian Emile Claus. It is stylistically based on French Impressionism, but combines the sunny reflections of light with a realistic representation.
Rodolphe De Saegher's works can be found in museums in Brussels, Rome, London, Venice and Paris.
