Rodolphe de Saegher was a member of the artists' association "Vie et Lumière" (Life and Light) founded in 1904. The style was mainly influenced by the Belgian Emile Claus and stylistically based on French Impressionism. Luminism is a general name for a style in Belgium that, although influenced by French Impressionism, combines the sunny reflections of light with a realistic representation.
Rodolphe De Saegher's works can be found in museums in Brussels, Rome, London, Venice and Paris.
