In October 2017, I founded my art gallery, ART FLAGEY, in Berlin.
Full of optimism, I opened a shop in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. After a few promising early years, the pandemic hit, and things became difficult. In February 2024, I decided to close the physical store and have since focused on showcasing paintings and decorative arts online. I'm not alone in this decision; unfortunately, many businesses have had to take this path.
Focus: Belgian art, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco
But I remain a passionate art dealer, full of joy and enthusiasm. My particular love is for Belgian art and the beautiful objects from the Art Deco and Art Nouveau periods.
My interest in these art forms was sparked by decades spent in Belgium, especially in Brussels, where I lived for a long time.
During this time, I became intimately familiar with the Belgian art scene. Belgium boasts outstanding artists and is renowned for its rich heritage of Art Nouveau and Art Deco architecture, as well as decorative objects that showcase exceptional craftsmanship.

I have acquired my expertise primarily through regular visits to and observation of auctions, art fairs, and galleries, and local art dealers have been invaluable to me.
