Igor Tcholaria (*1959), Circus Festival

Igor Tcholaria graduated from the art school in Sukhumy in 1976 as one of the best students. This was followed by an art study at the Art Academy in Leningrad. With the beginning of the Gorbachev Perestroika he is noticed by European galleries and collectors and exhibits in Italy, Finland and Holland. He has worked closely with Robinson's art gallery in Belgium and several other major galleries, including Roy Miles in England. Participation in over 40 exhibitions around the world. Igor Tcholaria is heavily inspired by the French Impressionists. He lives and works in St.-Petersburg and Belgium.
