Lucien Charles Edouard Alliot was a student of Louis Bariab and Jules Coutan. Alliot was well known for his figurative sculptures which were exhibited for many years at the Salon de Paris. He received several awards until he declared himself out of the competition and became a jury member at the Salon evaluating sculptural works in the 1930's.
