Igor Tcholaria – Modern figurative painting with poetry

Igor Tcholaria was born in 1959 in what is now Georgia and studied at the renowned Repin Institute in St. Petersburg. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, he developed his distinctive style: colorful, expressive figure paintings influenced by Picasso, Chagall, and the Commedia dell'arte. Today, he is represented at international art fairs from Paris to Brussels.
