Clémence HANAPPE (1869 - 1955)

Clémence Hanappe (1869–1955) was a Belgian painter from La Hestre near Mariemont, known for her Impressionist-influenced flower paintings. Her paintings were exhibited at the Exposition Générale des Beaux-Arts and the Salon de Printemps in Brussels in 1907 and 1909, and she was a key part of the Belgian art scene around 1900. Her atmospheric works depict rose fields, garden landscapes, greenhouses, and floral still lifes. Exclusive paintings with provenance can be found at ART FLAGEY, Berlin.
